Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded United Arab Emirates University PhD Scholarship are stated below:
1. All national and international students are eligible to apply.
2. They must have a GPA ≥ 3.5/4.0 in their Master’s degree.
3. Applicants must have no employment or any other financial sponsorship.
4. Applicants should have a dissertation in one of the UAE priority sectors, such as Renewable Energy, Health, Transportation, Water, Technology, and Space).
5. Applicants must meet the PhD admission requirements of the university.
6. Applicants must meet the English Language Requirements of the university and degree program in which they are applying.
Duties:
1. Scholars must maintain a GPA ≥ 3.3 at the PhD level.
2. They must be enrolled in a full-time (min. of 9 credits/semester) PhD degree.
3. They must be available at UAEU full-time.
4. Scholars should commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week on courses and research projects throughout the study year.
Benefits
The benefits of the Fully Funded United Arab Emirates University PhD Scholarship are:
1. Scholars will get a full tuition waiver.
2. It will also provide a monthly stipend.
3. Health insurance will also be provided (if needed).
4. Scholars can get an extra bonus to (if needed):
a) Up to AED 2,000 from the supervisor’s internal research project or
b) Up to AED 3,000 from the supervisor’s external research project.
