The Fully Funded DAAD Helmut Schmidt Scholarship in Germany is open to all nationals. It is a fully funded master’s degree scholarship in the disciplines that are relevant to social, political, and economic development. The scholarship is offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to students of developing and emerging countries.
If you have a bachelor’s Degree (16 years) then you can apply for the Helmut Schmidt Program. A total of 07 Universities are Participating in this Program. There is no application fee required to apply for it. The selection will be made in October 2024. The classes will begin in October 2025.

Eligibility
- Applicants from developing and emerging countries can apply. Check theList of Eligible Countries for the Helmut Schmidt Scholarship.
- Applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree in Social and Political Sciences, Law, Economics, Public Policy, and Administration or from a relevant field.
- Applicants must have completed a 16-year bachelor’s degree program from a University.
- Applicant must apply for the indicated Master’s degree program.
- You can apply for up to two Master’s degree programs.
- All applications must be submitted in English or German.
- There is no age limit.
